Back in February we had heard about an upcoming Marshawn Lynch biopic called Family First that was derided by many as terrible based off of a four-minute trailer that you can see here assuming the word "terrible" doesn't scare you off.

It was to be directed by Lynch family friend Mario Bobino, who was given $100,000 raised by Marshawn to help put together the project. On top of that, Bobino also contributed $18,000 of his own retirement savings after that initial six-figure sum ran out. But then the linked-to-above-trailer hit the internet which led to eventual shit hitting the fan. Lynch's side wasn't pleased with the unannounced release of said trailer (and was even less enthused by it's quality). Said Lynch's agent to Rolling Stone, "He did a terrible job, and the film will never be released." Since the Seattle running back holds the rights to the film, that's it, it's done. You and your friends won't be able to watch (and then laugh at) it.

For his part, Bobino appears determined to clear his name, which has led him to put together a script about how bad things got after the trailer hit the web. He gave Rolling Stone his side of the story:

"My story is the truth, so people know what happened and what I had to deal with. If that movie had come out and it would have been successful, I would have gotten no credit. Now that it's considered a failure, everyone is pointing the finger at Mario Bobino."

The entire saga has led Lynch and Bobino to stop talking to one another. Says Bobino on where the relationship stands today:

"It will never be the same between us. I think the issue with me and him now is a trust issue. He doesn't trust me anymore, so that's why the movie isn't going to come out. It's a trust issue with me now because I put out that promo out with his consent."

He then said "everybody makes mistakes," which you've probably heard a million times in your life but you'd know exactly where he's coming from had you clicked the link to the trailer above.
