Professional boxers are known for abstaining from sex in the days, weeks, and even months leading up to big fights because many of them feel as though it zaps them of their energy. Recently, TMT boxer J'Leon Lovestarted dating Blac Chyna, and he reportedly refused to have sex with her simply because he had a fight coming up. But apparently, UFC fighter Conor McGregor doesn't buy into that school of thought.
He appeared on Conan last night to promote his upcoming bout with Chad Mendes. And after Conan O'Brien asked him where he stands on the issue of having sex before a fight, McGregor revealed that he's actually all for it.
"That is most certainly a superstition that I do not abide by," he said. "I definitely have as much sex as possible."
Later in the interview, McGregor also took some more shots at Floyd Mayweather. If you remember, McGregor said that he would "kill him in less than 30 seconds" during an interview back in April. And it seems he still feels the same way about Mayweather today.
"I've said it before, I don't think boxing is the style of fighting that can beat Floyd," he said, "but saying that, there are many, many forms of fighting that can beat him. If we were to get it on, I would most certainly dismantle him."
