The No. 1 rule of the NASCAR Club is never talk bad about NASCAR, especially if you're going to get married to a rabid NASCAR fan.

The Indianapolis 500 was held on Sunday and Juan Pablo Montoya was the victor. But that's not why we're here. There were Coors Light cans  crushed all over the state of Indiana, resulting in way too many intoxicated people. And things were aparently a little too turnt for David Wilson, who allegedly choked his fiancée for talking trash about NASCAR. No, we aren't making this up:

Wilson’s fiancée told police they had been drinking all day. She said Wilson became angered when he heard her and another person talking about IndyCar being better than NASCAR.

Wilson told police he was in the kitchen making dinner when he heard his fiancée and another person “talking trash about NASCAR.” He said he yelled into the room at both of them, but denied a physical altercation taking place.

To be fair to Wilson, the original report noted that Wilson was "extremely upset" that no one was helping him with the housework.

Wilson was arrested on charges of domestic battery and strangulation.
