Starting in the 2015-16 NBA season, the league will begin testing for human growth hormone, according to Yahoo's Marc Spears. Players will be subjected to three random tests during the course of the year (plus "reasonable cause" testing), with punishments distributed as follows:

The first violation is a 20-game suspension.

The second violation is a 45-game suspension.

The third violation is a big 'f you' via a lifetime ban. (At least, that's what we think being "dismissed and disqualified" means.)

Should be interesting to see how this plays out. Place your bets on who'll be the first big name to get fingered caught.
