During tonight's game between the New Orleans Pelicans and Minnesota Timberwolves, Andrew Wiggins drove towards the basket with every intention of flushing it down when poor Omer Asik got in his way. Look, Wiggins may be a 20-year-old rookie but when he takes flight, the Timberwolves guard/forward doesn't look anything like a first-year player and Asik found that out the hard way.
Bless Asik's heart for thinking that the straight-up defense was going to prevent Wiggins from slamming it home. Keep Omer in your prayers, people. He may never recover from this one.
