Russell Wilson, looking like he's been spending the bulk of his off-season in the gym and downing protein shakes, took batting practice as a member of the Texas Rangers this afternoon, and gave a few balls a ride out of the ballpark, much to the the delight of everyone watching.

The Rangers drafted Wilson, who played baseball at NC State, in the 2013 Rule 5 Draft. Wilson was also drafted by the Baltimore Orioles when he was in high school, but elected to attend NC State instead of becoming a professional baseball player.

It's just batting practice, but the Seattle Seahawks quarterbacks's swing looks pretty smooth. And is it just us, or does he look way bigger? Like, Marshawn Lynch big. Stick him in the lineup ahead of Prince Fielder, and the Rangers just might have a squad.
