For the last six months, people have been wondering which team Ray Allen was going to sign with for the 2014-15 NBA season. The Cavaliers? The Warriors? The Hawks? Today, he finally revealed the answer. He's going to sign with…

No one! That's right. After all the speculation, Allen has officially decided not to play in the NBA this season. He released a press release through his agent Jim Tanner a short time ago.

"Over the past several months, I have taken a lot of time to deliberate what is best for me," he said in the release. "I've ultimately decided that I will not play this NBA season. I'm going to take the remainder of this season, as well as the upcoming off-season, to reassess my situation, spend time with my family, and determine if I will play in the 2015-16 NBA season."

Tanner added that Allen "has received enormous interest from a number of NBA teams" this season. But ultimately, he's not going to play.

Maybe next year.
