Chris Janes, the coach who blew the whistle (or, snitched/told/ratted/did his due diligence/whatever) on Jackie Robinson West, and in the process got their U.S. title revoked, was arrested early this morning on assault, disorderly conduct and public intoxication charges. At about 1 a.m., Janes reportedly chased a woman into her home. The unnamed woman (who said she didn't know Janes) called the police after he began pounding on her door whilst creating a scene.

Janes, for his part, said he was drunk and that he "went to the wrong house and scared the hell out of my neighbors.” He also claimed to be both "embarrassed" and "awfully sorry," before adding that he hoped it wouldn't be linked to the Evergreen Park little league organization he's affiliated with.
