If you've spent more than five minutes on the Internet over the last year, then you're probably familiar with the "You the real MVP" meme. During his MVP speech last spring, Kevin Durant referred to his mom as "the real MVP" and the Internet took it and ran with it:

1.

As it turns out, though, KD is not a fan of the meme. Like, at all. Unlike his teammate Russell Westbrook who claims he doesn't know what memes are, KD has seen it used a lot. And as he just told GQ, he hates it.

"I was like, man, that was a real emotional moment for me, and you making a joke about it!" he said in a feature that will appear in the March 2015 issue of the magazine. "Damn. Y'all don't really believe in shit. You don't have no morals or nothing. You don't care about nothing but just making fun…I was serious as hell saying that, you know what I'm saying?"

That wasn't the only interesting thing KD told GQ, either. During his interview with them, he also discussed looking for love ("I go to sleep at night, like, 'Am I gonna be alone forever?'"), his opinion on Donald Sterling ("When that came out, we was just like, 'Oh, so that's how they feel about us?'"), and why he might not be headed to the Wizards in 2016 after all because of how "overwhelming" Washington D.C. can be for him ("So many people, man. Everybody wants a piece of you").

You can read the whole feature here. Are you done using the "You the real MVP" meme now?
