On Sunday, J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert returned to Madison Square Garden for the first time since getting traded by the New York Knicks to the Cleveland Cavaliers. In the end, the Cavaliers breezed their way to a 101-83 win over the Knicks. Smith nearly finished with a team-high 17 points, four assists and three rebounds while Shumpert ended up with four points, seven assists and five rebounds. But enough talk about the numbers! Did you see that alley-oop from Shump to Swish?
With the game already well out of reach early in the fourth quarter, Shumpert threw a lob to Smith who threw down a reverse slam. This moment may be especially painful for Knicks fans to watch since they saw J.R. do the exact same thing a little more than three years ago.
