He might now be one of the greatest players in the world, but recently uncovered footage of a fresh-faced 16 year-old Cristiano Ronaldo shows that he’s always had skills.
The video posted by Youtube user BeenymanSports dates back to the 2001-02 season, when Ronaldo was playing for his first club Sporting CP in Portugal, before being signed by Manchester United. It shows him scoring his first top level goal, and also doing a few of his trademark step overs.
There’s also footage of him chilling on the Lisbon Metro undisturbed, something that would be impossible for him to do now.
