This year hasn’t been Lob City’s finest, but don’t tell that to Brook Lopez. On a night that was already going pretty badly for the Nets, he tried to get in the way of a lob to DeAndre Jordan and quickly realized that this was a terrible idea.
Lopez didn’t even bother to jump as Jordan leapt way, way above him, halfheartedly wrapping his arms around Jordan’s waist as he got the ball jammed all over his head. For a guy trying to increase his trade value, Lopez can ill-afford this type of egregious public humiliation.
