With domestic violence issues, athlete arrests, and mega-money contracts, professional sports aren’t always cast in the most positive of lights. But before the Boston Bruins beat the Florida Panthers in overtime on Tuesday, the cameras reminded us what the game is really about.
A young B’s fan plopped down on the Bruins’ bench during pre-game warmups, and as several members of the team came off the ice to head back to the locker room, they greeted the adorable youngster-seriously, that pullover has patches-with a line of fist bumps. The kid’s reaction to meeting his heroes, as you can see, is absolutely priceless. We’re not sure if Gregory Campbell actually hurt him with the pound, or if this kid is just that awesome, but either way, your faith in sports has been renewed at least for one day. Maybe a few hours?
