Is Brady trying to get inside of Luck's head right now?

Tom Brady and Andrew Luck will square off on Sunday night in what should be one of the better NFL match-ups of the weekend. Both the Patriots and the Colts have scored a ton of points in recent weeks, which leads us to believe that their Sunday Night Football game is going to be a shootout. It sounds like Brady is excited about the idea of facing Luck, too, because during a news conference earlier today, he did nothing but heap praise on the young quarterback.

"He's a great player, in his third year, and he's had a lot of success," he said. "Their offense is doing a great job this year; they score a lot of points, especially at home. He's kind of a ringleader. He does a lot of things I wish I could do."

Brady then went on to talk about all of the things that Luck does that he wishes he could do, too.

"He's big, fast, shrugs off blockers," he said. "He makes a lot of extended plays. He's a great passer. I think they've thrown for more yards at this point in the year than any other team in history. It speaks to what they're doing offensively, and it's a great challenge for our defense."

So is Brady telling the truth here, or just trying to get in Luck's head while simultaneously motivating his defense? Probably a little bit of both. But this is obviously high praise coming from Brady and it makes us even more excited to see what's going to happen when the Pats and Colts play on Sunday night.
