Marreese Speights is definitely not the best player on the Warriors. Far from it actually. But last night, he sure played like it during his team's 91-86 win over the Thunder in Oklahoma City. He scored a season-high 28 points and grabbed seven rebounds during the contest. And after the game ended, he told reporters that he played so well because of Kendrick Perkins. Speights took some parting shots at Perk before thanking him for inspiring him to put up such solid stats.

"Perk always has something to say," Speights said. "He thinks he's a tough guy, but at the end of the day, his game is terrible. He always has something to say to me, every time we play against each other. It always gets me going, so: Shout out to Perkins for helping me get this game."

Damn. Perkins just can't win, can he? Oh well. At least he's getting paid a lot of money this year, right?
