The life of a mascot can be a thankless one. You're counted on to have your energy level full Nick Swisher all game long. You sweat, a lot, and being inside a giant costume for 3-4 hours is sort of like being buried alive. You wish you could reveal your identity, so that when someone at a party asks what you do for a living you can proudly announce, "I am a mascot, and I proud of it, sir!" but you can't. Your profession must remain a secret, much like the plight of Batman. 

But the Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket doesn't play by traditional rules. Nay, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket transcends the mascot profession. He buzzes around the field with the grace of Michelle Kwan on the ice, his antennas flapping subtlety in the wind. And in what may have been his final, beautiful act, he launches himself face first into the goalpost during GT's football game today. Why did he do it? Is he now paralyzed?
