Since taking over as head coach in 2013, Chip Kelly has transformed the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense into a fast-paced, high-powered machine. He took over after the team went 4-12 in 2012, led them to a 10-6 finish and an NFC East title last season, and is currently tied with Dallas atop the division at 8-3.

In an effort to slow down Kelly’s Eagles, it appears that every other team in the NFC East reached out to former University of Oregon defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti. Aliotti retired after the 2013 season, but he says that everyone else in the division has attempted to enlist his services.

“I have been asked by everybody in the NFC East,” said Aliotti in a report published by the Oregonian. “The Giants asked me to come back when Chip got the first job. I didn’t feel right about doing that. Some teams have called when they’re getting ready to play the Eagles and they call and have certain questions on the thing. Unless I know the guy and he’s a good friend, I don’t get involved with that.”

Talk about birds of a feather…
