Two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash isn't getting any younger. Last season, the former All-Star was only able to play 15 games after health issues limited his effectiveness for much of the season.

Today, the news only became worse for Lakers fans when the team announced the latest injury plaguing Nash. According to the Lakers, Nash injured his back while trying to carry bags. It is immediately unclear what type of bags these were (Grocery bags? Luggage? Gym bags?) but it is known that the injury caused him to miss his third straight practice.

Due to his health issues and age—he'll turn 41 in February—many speculated that Nash would retire over the offseason. However, he ultimately decided to return to the team.

Unfortunately, if he can't play, Nash isn't doing Los Angeles much good right now. He is also set to earn $9.7M during the 2014-15 regular season. Somewhere, Kobe is shaking his head.
