A totally normal, completely ordinary event took place following the San Francisco 49ers-St. Louis Rams game last night: A large, sweaty man wearing a Batman tank top was arrested while trying to snag an autograph from the Niners players streaming into the exit tunnel.

San Francisco offensive lineman Anthony Davis was on the scene and, thinking quickly, made sure to pull out his phone to document the entire incident. We've included his video above, and a photo he snapped of the arrest below.

The photo's caption read: "I guess he wasn't happy about us winning tonight. Lmao #49ers".

A fan on the scene also included the interaction's most memorable image.

What do you think? Should the fan have been so forcibly detained or this another example of an overzealous response by the police? It's completely possible that this man wasn't simply trying to get an autograph like he claimed. The cops had to do something, right?
