Until the current postseason, the Kansas City Royals hadn't been to playoffs in almost three decades, enduring a playoff drought that stretched back to 1986. However, the tides are quickly turning for Royals Nation, as the team is now one win away from a World Series berth following their 2-1 victory against the Baltimore Orioles last night.
Unsurprisingly, Royals fans are ready to celebrate. In the video above, Johnny Kane, a skittish-looking reporter for KMBC News, got a dose of the fanaticism currently sweeping Kansas City, which is to say, he nearly suffers a heart attack.
