According to the Monday Night Football analyst himself, Jon Gruden “would like to become the head coach of the University of Michigan.”

That’s right, according to an excerpt from the Dayton University media guide circa mid-1980s, the former Flyers backup quarterback had his sights set on coaching the maize and blue after he graduated.

Hey, we didn’t say when Gruden made those comments.

And with Michigan’s 2-4 record, and the program in a serious nosedive, maybe a move to Ann Arbor could soon be in the cards for coach Gruden.
