Jay Cutler Is the "Tony Romo of the Midwest," According to Donovan McNabb

Trolling or nah?

Donovan McNabb killed two birds, er, two quarterbacks with one stone today. During a radio interview with Chicago's 87.7 FM, the former NFL star was asked about Jay Cutler. And while discussing the Bears shotcaller, McNabb managed to criticize both Cutler and Tony Romo with his answer.

"He's the Tony Romo of the Midwest," he said in reference to Cutler. "We can talk about arm talent. We can talk about being able to throw a ball through a wall. He can put up 280, 340 yards passing. But you look across the board, he's got two interceptions in a game that cost them 14 points or so. That hurts a football team."

McNabb also went on to say that guys like Cutler and Romo need to do more than just put up big fantasy football numbers to be considered great.

"Wins and losses record, the numbers you put up," he said. "And the end-all, be-all is how many playoff wins do you have? How many playoff appearances do you have? If you only have one to show for almost a decade of play, that means you can't lead your team to the playoffs."

We still can't get over the "Tony Romo of the Midwest" comment. Which QB do you think will be more upset about that one—Cutler or Romo?
