This is the only Premier League table that Manchester United fans won't want to top.

According to statistics released by the Home Office, fans in Manchester are the worst behaved in the Premier League...but the Red Devils are significantly worse.

Police arrested 112 Manchester United fans last season – the worst record in the top flight – while City were runners-up with 71 fans placed in handcuffs. Arsenal, Sunderland and Liverpool made up the top five.

Here's the number of police arrests made amongst the five worst behaving clubs in 2013/14...

65 Manchester United fans were arrested for alcohol related offences, which proved to be the issue that gave authorities the most problems last season.

Of 823 arrests across the Premier League in total, 276 were for alcohol offences and 237 for cases of public disorder. Just 1.1% of arrests were for racist or indecent chanting.

It wasn't a good season for Newcastle United fans, who are never afraid to make their voice heard against unpopular owner Mike Ashley, and the club responded by issuing more banning orders at St. James' Park than any other Premier League club.

If there to be any positives taken from the data, it's that the total number of arrests in English football fell by 183 to 2,273.
