We saw a shocker early this morning in the Barclay’s Premier League, as Manchester United fell to just-promoted Leicester City by an eye-popping 5-3 margin. Perhaps even more shocking is that United led this game 3-1 in the second half before coughing up four unanswered goals.

It has been a disastrous start to the United season under new manager Louis van Gaal, as the Red Devils have coughed up 12 goals in six total games and have pulled just five points in their first five Premier League matches.

In the other big Premier League match of the day, Chelsea legend Frank Lampard put home a stunning 85th minute equalizer for Manchester City to push the teams to a 1-1 draw:

Lampard has forever been synonymous with Chelsea, but left the team this offseason to join New York City FC of MLS. He was then loaned out to Manchester City (the parent club of NYCFC), which led to the surreal scenes today as he took the field against his former club.
