"When it comes to basketball," says DJ Timbuck2, "a lot of people don't really understand what a dynasty is." But that's certainly not the case for fans of the Chicago Bulls. Though Chi-Town hasn't won the crown since the days of Jordan and Pippen, they are among the most successful teams of all time with six NBA championships to their credit.

But it wasn't just ball skills that the Bulls of yore took to the next level. "We helped define style, obviously, with Michael Jordan," Timbuck2 says. "It didn't matter if you played for Boston, if you played for the Knicks--it didn't matter. You were wearing Jordans."

The spirit of Michael Jordan--the most legendary and unforgettable to ever play the game--still looms large over the Windy City. "It doesn't get more authentic than that," Timbuck2 says, describing the 14-time All Star and five-time MVP. And authenticity is a very important characteristic for DJ Timbuck2, as you'll see in the video above, presented by BACARDI® Flavored Rums. In it, he takes us on an insider's journey of basketball in Chicago, as well as to his favorite record store, sneaker shop, and tattoo parlor.

The journey starts with a trip to one of the city's most famous ball courts. "In Chicago, the most go hard or go home courts, I would have to say, is Jackson Park." Located in the city's rough and tumble south side, Jackson Park has long been the "stomping ground" where future NCAA and NBA stars hone their intensity.

"I know that Chicago brings flavor to the game," Timbuck2 says. "We, as Chicagoans, in basketball, have a lot to live up to, because of our past." And with every new season comes the hope for their dynasty's return.
