Recently, two 19-year-olds from Santa Rosa, Calif. decided that they wanted to rent a $240,000 McLaren for a few days. But then, they realized that neither of them had the $13,000 necessary to get behind the wheel of the car. So they did the next best thing—they stole someone's credit card and used it to rent the car.

Er, yeah. So in actuality, that turned out to be a really, really bad idea. Because a short time after Mohannad Halaweh and Nhimia Kahsay rented the McLaren, it was reported stolen. Police then spotted it, pulled the teens over, and arrested both of them and charged them with a slew of crimes, including suspicion of possessing stolen property and credit card fraud. And as if that wasn't bad enough, both of them have a history with fraud and using stolen credit cards. So they're both likely going to face some jail time for pulling their latest stunt.

What were these two thinking? Did they really think that they'd make it far in a bright-orange McLaren?
