We've heard about quite a few crazy police chases over the years. But we've never heard about a police chase quite like the one that former NFL player Tyler Sash allegedly led police on last Saturday morning.
According to KCCI in Iowa, the former New York Giants safety was arrested on Saturday at approximately 2 a.m. after he tried to run from police on a scooter. Police spotted Sash driving the scooter in Oskaloosa, Iowa and tried to pull him over because his headlight wasn't on. But he refused to pull over and, after running from police for several minutes, he jumped off the scooter and tried to make a getaway on foot. The police caught up to him, though, and ended up having to use a Taser on Sash to subdue him. He resisted arrest and wouldn't let police put him into handcuffs. But thanks to the Taser, police arrested him and charged him with public intoxication and interference with official acts.
