LoJack, one of the biggest aftermarket vehicle-tracking companies, has released its list of the 10 most stolen cars of the past year (equipped with LoJack, of course). Some of the picks may surprise you. Unintentionally leading the charge is the Honda Accord, which takes the top spot for the fifth year in a row.  Here is the full list:

  1. Honda Accord
  2. Honda Civic
  3. Toyota Camry
  4. Toyota Corolla
  5. Chevrolet Silverado
  6. Acura Integra
  7. Cadillac Escalade
  8. Ford F-350
  9. Nissan Altima
  10. Chevrolet Tahoe

Last year, the oldest vehicle stolen with LoJack was a 1963 Cadillac Convertible, while the most expensive was a 2011 Porsche Panamera valued at $103,400. And here’s a tidbit for you – the most commonly stolen car color? Black. The least? Turquoise.

So, if you’re looking to buy a theft-resistant car, make sure it’s a light blue hatchback.
