Since he first entered the NBA back in 2005 as a member of the Washington Wizards, Andray Blatche has made his fair share of headlines. But he never seems to make them for the right reasons. He's been labeled as one of the laziest and most awkward athletes in the league by some, and at 27, it's looking more and more like he's never going to be able to harness his raw talent and turn it into something truly special. And last night, he proved (once again!) why it's so hard to take him seriously as a legit player.

During Game 5 of the Brooklyn Nets' playoff series with the Toronto Raptors, Blatche helped the Nets erase a 26-point second half deficit and came thisclose to being the hero of the game by nearly sending the game into overtime at the end of the fourth quarter. But for some completely unknown reason, Blatche grabbed an offensive rebound with less than five seconds left and the Nets trailing by two, dribbled the ball away from the basket, and threw it into the back court, which resulted in a back-court violation and essentially ended the game. And while Blatche doesn't deserve all the blame for Brooklyn's loss—remember, they were down by almost 30 at one point—the final play of the game was just another example of the kind of shenanigans that seem to follow the Syracuse, N.Y. native wherever he goes.

In light of Blatche's most recent flub, we decided to take a look back at some of the more muffled moments of his career, both on and off the court. From responding to his own parody Twitter account to the embarrassment of his failed attempt at a triple-double, check out A Brief History of Andray Blatche's Worst Botches.
