Donovan McNabb's Mugshot Is Making the Rounds on Twitter Right Now, Even Though No One Knows What He Actually Did Yet (Update)

Donovan McNabb's mugshot is all over Twitter right now. But no one knows exactly what he got arrested for yet.

Earlier this afternoon, the Maricopa County (Ariz.) Sheriff's Office released a mugshot featuring Donovan McNabb. But they didn't offer up any explanation for the mugshot or say what he did in order to get arrested. All they said was that additional details would be released soon:

Releasing the mugshot without any sort of explanation was a dangerous thing to do, though, because: A) It's forced people to jump to all sorts of conclusions concerning why McNabb may have gotten arrested, and B) It's resulted in hundreds of people tweeting about the mugshot on Twitter and making jokes about it. Already, we've seen tweets like this:

Hopefully, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office will release some more info about McNabb's arrest soon. A few media outlets already did some digging around and found that it may be related to a "Criminal Traffic" incident back in January. But stay tuned for additional details.

UPDATE:

According to TMZ, McNabb was arrested back in January for DUI and later served one day in an Arizona jail. McNabb hasn't commented on the situation yet.

UPDATE 2:

McNabb was actually arrested back in December 2013, not January 2014, for DUI.
