We all knew it was coming, but that doesn't make these photos any less exciting. The new Corvette model that is showing up at the New York Auto Show is this stunning blue Z06 convertible. While it does look glorious, we're sure that the true glory is the sound of that supercharged 6.2L V8 screaming at the top of its lungs with the top down.
Better still is that, because of advancements in metalworking technology in the last five years, the convertible isn't discernibly less precise of heavier than the coupe. This means that you can have your track car, and get it as a convertible without having to make sacrifices in handling. Now will you excuse us, we have a situation we need to walk off.
