The Chevy SS is getting a Manual Transmission and Magnetic Ride

The SS is getting the piece of equipment that it is most sorely missing. Rejoice!

When the Chevy SS debuted we looked at it and decided that it was exactly what the General should be doing. We had a few questions regarding the decisions made in the design and engineering process, not to mention the naming process, but those were answered. Probably the number one question that everybody was asking is "why the hell is the SS automatic only?"

Purists can now be happy, as the SS is getting a manual option according to a Motor Trend report. There's no news yet on which transmission it will be, but we wouldn't be surprised to see the C7 Corvette's seven speed show up here. Also new on the 2015 SS is the Corvette's Magnetic Ride Control, which offers amazingly good adaptable suspension.

Sounds like the SS is turning into the car that we want it to be.
