The middle schooler in me who geeked out when a science teacher made a crude hovercraft just spazzed once again. The 2015 Mercier-Jones Supercraft is being billed as the Bugatti Veyron of hovercrafts, and I didn't even know that was possible.
With a top speed of 80 mph, the Supercraft is the fastest hovercraft in the world. The previous record holder did a paltry 56.25. It'll hover seven inches over ice, sand, water, and "everything in between." Copping one will cost you, though, but not nearly as much as a Veyron. Prices start at $75,000, and deliveries will begin in May.
