The Miami Dolphins partnership with offensive lineman Jonathan Martin is officially over. The Dolphins reportedly dealt Martin to the San Francisco 49ers for a conditional draft pick

This past season was a tough one for Martin. He was involved in a national headline grabbing bullying scandal this past season. An investigation for the league determined that teammates Richie Incognito, John Jerry and Mike Pouncey engaged in persistent harassment of Martin, another Dolphins offensive lineman and an assistant trainer.

Martin will at least find a person of support in San Francisco since this trade reunites him with his coach at Stanford, Jim Harbaugh.

Martin expressed his happiness with the trade as well as the chance at a new opportunity:

Opportunities are few in the NFL... Can't wait to get to work #9erEmpire
