Volvo Teased Very Little of its Concept Estate

Please be a shooting-brake.

What a day it’s been for wagons. Earlier we got the fantastic Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake, and now the Volvo Concept Estate, albeit the front and rear bumpers of it.

Volvo released these pictures ahead of the concept’s Geneva Motor Show debut, but not much else. It looks to be a showstopper, judging by what we can see. The five-spoke wheels look typically massive, as they do on most concepts, and the rear hatch seems to channel some Ford Focus RS design cues. But what gets us most excited is the prospect of it being a two-door shooting-brake.

The Swedish carmaker has a rich history of producing fantastic wagons. Check back during the motor show, and maybe they’ll show a door mirror or two.
