Purveyors of cool and savants of style, this is your new car. It’s a Fiat 500L Beats Edition, and unfortunately for you, it’s not coming your way for 2014. Unless you live in Europe, that is.

Mechanically, it’s still a shapely Italian hatchback, albeit with the addition of two new engine options: a 1.6L MultiJet turbodiesel and a 1.4L T-Jet gas four-cylinder – surely you didn’t expect Dr. Dre to stuff a Hemi under there, though we wish he had.

Inside you’ll find the Beats premium sound system, developed and tuned by Dre himself, which is available with any of the three engine options, mated to Fiat’s six-speed manual. It might be a bit of a gimmick, but one thing is for sure: You’ll hear this thing well before you see it.

Despite the odd design of the engorged 500L, this special edition is one you’ll want to see in person. The two-tone paint scheme looks nearly as fierce as the Abarths, with the black and grey exterior done-up in either a matte or glossy finish. And if Italian fashion is your fancy, the Beats Edition 500L dresses up with chrome outlining the rocker panel and accents of crimson on the seats and brake calipers.
