We're no doctors. But you know what you probably shouldn't be doing if you're pregnant? Riding around in a stolen vehicle. It just doesn't seem safe—for you or your unborn child. And yet, that's exactly what one woman did recently. She was arrested last Saturday after she was caught riding around in a stolen Dodge pickup truck in Dearborn Heights, Mich. just outside of Detroit.

Police say two men and two women stole the truck and drove it around for a few minutes before police spotted them and gave chase. The driver of the stolen vehicle then tried to elude police by driving down a one-way street. But the driver ended up running into a utility pole and two cars, so three of the four people in the car jumped out and ran away. Police were able to track them down and arrest them, but they quickly realized that one of the women was actually pregnant. And when they cuffed her, she went into labor and had to be rushed to the hospital.

There's been no word yet about how far along the woman was in her pregnancy or what role her arrest played in her going into labor. But we have to believe that it played some role. And it also proved why stealing cars is never a good idea, especially if you're getting ready to have a baby. What a way to bring a life into the world.
