Kyrie Irving Set to Have An MRI on His Knee

This could be bad news for Cleveland.

The Cleveland Cavaliers season has been a rough one. Kyrie Irvingsuffered a knee injury against the Indiana Pacers adding to the Cavs woes this season. Irving was helped off the floor in the third quarter after falling awkwardly on a missed layup. A team physician cleared Irving to play and he returned in the fourth.

Irving returned in the fourth quarter and was only able to muster up two points on free throws as Indiana ran away to a 91-76 victory against the Cavaliers. Irving is set to receive an MRI on the knee after suffering the injury.

It's good to hear Kyrie say that this shouldn't be too serious, but hearing a pop is never a good thing. Irving finished the game with 10 points, five assists and five rebounds. Cleveland is currently in the midst of a six-game losing streak and now has a rough 10-21 record.
