Twitter is going to have to get ready for some Cool Runnings jokes, because the Jamaica bobsled team has official qualified for the Olympics. Twitter unfortunately hasn't seen too many of these kinds of jokes (or fortunately: There's going to be plenty of corny ones) because this will be the country's first time qualifying since 2002.

The team will consist of Winston Watts and Marvin Dixon, and this might be Watts' fourth appearance after competing in 1994, 1998, and 2002. That's might because there's a chance the team will not be able to afford going to Sochi. Their appearance depends on assistance from the Jamaican Olympic Association or outside donations.

If the team does make it, here's hoping to another Cool Runnings movie if it does end up winning the country's first gold medal in Winter competition.

UPDATE: After such an incredible run, the Jamaican Bobsled team needs your help. In an effort to raise $80,000 towards their trip to the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, a Crowdtilt has been created. If there's any way you can help, we're sure they would greatly appreciate your donation.
