It was a Jekyll and Hyde-type of performance by the Florida State Seminoles' offense during the 2014 BCS ChampionshipGame against Auburn? In the first half, the 'Noles ran 33 plays for a paltry 156 yards. Then, in the second half, FSU snapped out of their offensive doldrums to the tune of 229 yards on 30 plays. So, what was the catalyst for such a dramatic shift? Well, it may have been something as simple as the Tigers' co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Dameyune Craig and his inability to call out the Seminoles' plays, thanks to the use of towels.

During the Seminoles' first drive in the second half, wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin was caught by ESPN cameras shouting out, "Dameyune [Craig] calling [out] all the plays," in the direction of head coach Jimbo Fisher and Jameis Winston. From 2010-2012, Craig was on the FSU coaching staff as the team's quarterbacks coach. In response to Benjamin's claim, the Seminoles used towels to hide their play calls and well, you know how it all ended.

Do you think Benjamin picking up on Craig's supposed actions really were to blame for FSU's poor first half performance though?
