Polestar: no matter what it sounds like, it's not an international stripping competition. It's actually Volvo's performance and motorsport division. While they're mostly famous for winning a few championships, there's also the Volvo C30 Polestar, a 450-hp AWD hot hatch, that captured the world's attention.

Now the tuner plans to introduce its first production models, the S60 Polestar and the V60 Polestar. The cars aren't quite as crazy as we hoped, but with AWD and 350 hp Volvo T6 engines they still seem like good fun. 0-60 happens in 4.8 seconds and the car then continues on to an electronically limited 155 mph top speed. The paddle-shifted transmission has also been worked over for better response and faster shifts to better harness that power.

We have no shortage of sport sedans in the market, but we're rally happy to see that a sport wagon is incoming. No word on pricing yet, though.
