McKoy is the most lethal running you may have never heard about until now, because he ran himself into the record books today. His 455-yard rushing performance against Worchester State is the most in NCAA history in all divisions. This breaks Dante Brown's (Marietta) 1996 record of 441.
McKoy rushed for 226 yards last week against Fitchburg St., and a then-school record 372 yards the week before that against Massachusetts Maritime. He had 43 carries (five touchdowns) in his record-breaking performance against Worchester State, which means he averaged over a first down in the game. Maybe he's just too undermatched in this division in his senior year. Regardless, his name is in the record books while LaDainian Tomlinson (Texas Christian) still holds the record for most rushing yards in an FBS game with 406 (1999).
