To be honest, we've never really put a whole lot of thought into examining NBC's Sunday Night Football theme song. But after hearing Mike Francesa go on this rant yesterday, we went back and gave it another listen. And we have to admit that he does have a point. As far as theme songs go, this one is pretty weak, because who actually sits around on Sunday and waits for Sunday Night Football to start? NO ONE. There are NFL games on all day on Sunday, so we're all sitting around watching those, not waiting for one to start on Sunday night.
