We all marvelled last week when Porsche announced that the 918 Spyder hybrid hyper car had lapped the Nurburgring's Nordschleife in a record-breaking 6:57. The driver knows what he's talking about, being Marc Lieb and having won the 24 Hours of Nurburgring four times.
In an interview with Drive TV, Lieb said that he thinks the car can go faster than that. Don't be surprised to hear of him doing so if McLaren manages to beat Porsche at the 'Ring in the P1.
