Texans safety Ed Reed (it still feels a little weird typing that after all of his years with the Ravens) is getting old. Well, not old old. But by the NFL's standards, he's reaching senior citizen status. So on his birthday yesterday, his Texans teammates got him a nice gift that he might be able to put to good use soon. They got him—get this—a walker.

"It's a platinum walker," said Reed, who also received a birthday cake with a Hall of Fame jacket on it.

And in addition to the walker, his teammates also gave him grief about his age by asking him where he was on September 11, 2001.

"Because his birthday's on 9/11, we were asking him, like, 'Where were you at on 9/11?'" cornerback Johnathan Joseph revealed. "And he was like, he was in college in his senior year. And I was like, 'Wow, I was a junior in high school.' So, yeah, it is funny."

These kids! No respect! But seriously, happy birthday, Ed. We hope you celebrate this week by actually getting out on the field and playing some football.
