An 18-wheeler caught fire after an accident near a small town in the Canadian wilderness, officials requested assistance from a water bombing plane nearby. Even the smallest spark could ignite the surrounding trees and then they would have a much larger issue to deal with. Planes like the one used can scoop up around 1,620 gallons, so you can imagine how useful they can be in dire situations.
