Maria Sharapova or Maria Sugarpova at the U.S. Open? It all doesn't matter now because the 26-year-old withdrew her name from the upcoming tournament. In a statement from U.S. Open tournament director David Brewer, the reason for Sharapova's absence is due to a right shoulder bursitis. Sharapova's agent, Max Eisenbud, spoke with USA TODAY Sports, adding that her shoulder "has been bothering her since before the French Open in May."

On the bright side, now we can watch theentire tournament with the sound on.
