This Ferrari 275 GTB/4 NART Spider Just Sold for $27.5 Million

It's now the most expensive car auctioned in the USA.

This 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 NART Spider was the kind of car that everybody knew was going to sell for more money then most families will ever make from the start: It's a '60s Ferrari, only ten cars were made for the North American Racing Team (NART), it's a well taken care of single owner car, and it look like sex on wheels. That's a formula that equals money at Pebble Beach.

It ended up setting the US all time record for most money spent at auction on a car and is the second most expensive in the world at $27.5 Million. It was estimated to finish somewhere between $14M and $17M, but hit $16M on the second bid and simly continued to climb from there.
