MLB Player Tim Hudson Broke His Ankle Last Night and Had to Be Taken Off the Field on a Stretcher (Video)

This is hard to watch.

Warning: This video of Atlanta Braves pitcher Tim Hudson breaking his ankle last night during a game against the New York Mets is not for the faint of heart.

During the eighth inning of the game, Hudson was covering first base after a routine ground ball was hit to Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman when Mets left fielder Eric Young Jr. accidentally stepped on his right foot and broke his right ankle. And as you'll see in this video, it caused Hudson to experience an immense amount of pain. He had to be carted off the field on a stretcher and will have to undergo surgery in Atlanta sometime in the next few days.

Best wishes on a speedy recovery, Tim. This injury looks like one of the worst we've ever seen.
