For a while, it seemed like the chances of Monta Ellis wearing a Dallas Mavericks uniform was slightly unlikely, and that Atlanta had more of a chance to land the guard. It turns out Ellis will be joining Dirk Nowitzki and the newly signed Jose Calderon and Devin Harris in Dallas. Sources are telling ESPN that he agreed to a three-year deal with the organization. The monetary conditions aren't set in stone yet, but it's being reported that it can range from $25 million to $30 million.

Ellis played a full 82 games for the first time in his career last season while averaging 19.2 PPG. Will he be a good fit for the revamped Dallas backcourt?
